Brave Baby Benaiah Dies On His Way To Dubai For His Heart Surgery

Remember the above pictures? Yes the picture of the man that sat in the middle of a road in Portharcourt, Rivers state with his sick baby.  The picture & video  broke the hearts of Nigerians as it went viral across the social media sphere

48 hours after the news broke, Nigerians rallied round created a gofundme on behalf of baby Benaiah and raised a whooping N70m  ( Seventy million Naira) towards the surgery to save the life of the baby.

Several controversy trailed the money raised but eventually it was obvious that everything was on track as we saw pictures of baby and daddy with a few celebrity in preparation to embarking on the said trip for the surgery.

However, news reaching LNB today revealed that baby Benaiah Monday is dead.

Benaiah Monday has died on his way to Dubai, where he was expected to undergo a major heart surgery.

He died this morning in Lagos and was rushed to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital where he was confirmed dead.

It's so sad and breaks my heart that after this struggle, brave  baby Benaiah lost the battle and didn't get to live the life that Nigerians wanted for him.
