THE EVIL SNAIL

After carrying a pregnancy for 13 months, a middle aged (45 years old) woman was recently delivered of 2 snails at a maternity home run by local church in Gwa Gwa, a little town in the outskirt of Abuja, Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory. On the day she delivered the snails, there was a prayer session going on in the church and she started shouting and begging for help. She was screaming that she had a feeling a razor was being used to cut her womb and chest, and almost suddenly black water started gushing out. As the nurse was searching for the head of the baby, her hand touched a hard object. As usual, the nurse then asked the woman to push, which led to the two snails crawling out alive. The woman immediately fell sideways and slept off! Dearly beloved, have you ever doubted that the world you live in is a wicked place? Why would a human being punish another fellow human being with a punishment of carrying a load of snails for 13months? Do you know that this woman could have carried those snails for many more years but for divine intervention? The world is a wicked place many are using various objects for protection- even in the church! Indeed, evil arrows are flying everyday, but Psalm 91:5 declares “Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night nor the arrows that flieth by day” Re-examine your defenses and block every broken hedge.  Life is not a game of chance! The creator did not put us where we would be victims of circumstances! Walk in faith and wisdom.
