Drama In Portharcourt As Wike and Amaechi Fights Over Osinbajo

Mild drama in Port harcourt on Thursday as the Minister for Transport, Rotimi Amaechi and Governor Nyesom Wike battled over who will lift the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo to Eleme where the world's biggest plant is located.
Governor Wike who was on ground at the Airport pointed at the already waiting BMW to chauffeur drive Osinbajo who insisted rather that they walked to the already waiting Chopper where Amaechi, Abe and others were already seated.

Wike who was visibly worried tried hard to convince Osinbajo to go with him and commission just one project, but the Acting President insisted that they head to the Chopper for the venue of the commissioning of the World standard Fertilizer project built by the INDORAMA Group.

A disappointed Wike had to leave his aides, supporters and convoy behind and joined Osinbajo to the Chopper where APC faithfuls were already singing the praise of their leader, Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi.

As soon as Osinbajo entered into the Chopper and Wike made his way to enter, the already charged youths began to boo him with shouts of, "Come down!, Come down!" while some others continued with shouts of "the Lion!" until the Chopper left.

The governor's convoy and his party faithfuls grumbled over the leader's failure to convince Osinbajo to first commission any of his projects had to make their way back home as it was obvious that they may not make it to Eleme, the venue of the official program for the Ag. President.

Osinbajo is in Rivers state to commission a plant with production capacity of 1.5 million metric tons of Urea fertilizer is considered the world’s largest single-train Urea plant.

Eleme Petrochemicals Company Ltd, now Indorama Eleme Fertiliser and Chemicals Limited, was privatised in 2006 after the sale of Federal Government’s 75 per cent shares to a core investor through competitive bidding process.

I personally believe that the acting President did  not handle this issue very well except if he was part of the arrangement for the chopper. By the way, what is Amaechi doing in River state? Is Portharcourt the office of the Transport minister? he is so obsessed with the Wike and Portharcourt that he has not thought of any means to improve the transport system in Nigeria. He is a modern man for heaven sake and we expect to see new innovations in that sector but evidently he has nothing to offer! this is so upsetting.
