Country Music Legend Don Williams Dies At 78

Country Music Hall of Fame, Don Williams, has died after a short illness. He was 78 years old.

His publicist,  Kirt Webster said the cause of death was emphysema.

Among his 17 singles that top billboard chat between 1974 to 1984 are "Lord, I hope this day is good" and "You are my best friend.

He was nicked named Gentle Giant not because of his 6.1 height but for his music.

Singing in his sweet baritone voice, he made marital fidelity not just appealing but sexy.

How much do you know about him? What is your Don Williams favourite Tracks?

For me the best time to listen to Don Williams is when you are ready to go to bed, turn off the light and play it in low tune, possibly  sing it out. Just very relaxing.

Don might have gone,  but his music lIves on. Get a CD.
