The Lagos state government has unveiled a statue in honour the legendary afro-beat, musician Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.

The statue was unveiled by Governor Akinwumi Ambode on Sunday, October 15, 2017, during his visit to the Kalakuta museum, Vanguard reports.

The statue titled, The Liberation, is located at Allen Roundabout, Ikeja in Lagos state. Below are some photos of the unveiling of the statue:
