Kano state chairman of All Progressive Congress, APC, Abdullai Abbas, has resigned


Report has it that Abdullahi Abbas who is wrapped in the feud between Governor Abdullahi Ganduje and deputy Hafizu Abubakar, tendered his resignation letter on Thursday. Caught between two big fishes

He is yet to give reason for the decision.

An aide to the Commissioner of Information, Faizu Alfindiki, confirmed the development to Premium Times.

Deputy governor Abubakar recently indicated that he would not run on the same ticket with the Gov. Ganduje in 2019.

Abubakar, a Professor of Food and Nutritional Biochemistry at the Bayero University, accused the Kano chapter of the APC of sidelining him in scheme of things.
