The Alleged Crimes Of Osinbajo As He Beg Buhari's Chief Of Staff, Kyari, To Save His Job.

It's been media frenzy with alot of speculation on the possibility of ousting the vice president Prof Yemi Osinbajo.

The speculation is mounting daily as Pastor Tunde Bakara during a Church service declared that he will be the number 16th person after Buhari. It was an old video which has suddenly found its way in the media and been used to make all kinds of political permutations.

Infact, it was reported today that Tunde Bakara was on his way to United states to meet with President Buhari to conclude on him assuming the position  the of vice president of the FRN.

While these whole issue are going on, many wondered, what really was the crime of Osinbajo who many will swear is clean, sincere and focus.

Here is what I have gathered.. .

That our able pastor cum politician was caught with his hands in the cookie jar... Allegedly.

According to Pointblanknews Sources in the presidential villa revealed that the vice president went groveling to Kyari  in light of the irregularities that trailed the Tradermoni scheme under his watch.

The source further revealed that the leverage the Buhari Presidency has over Osinbajo is based on its discovery that shortfalls in the monies meant to be given to the beneficiaries to the scheme were traced to the pockets of Osinbajo and his cronies.

It was learnt that his case was further compounded by the way he ensured the sack of the former Director General of the Department of State Services (DSS) Lawal Daura when he (Osinbajo) served as acting president in 2018.

Recall that Pointblanknews.com had earlier reported about moves to start an impeachment process against Osinbajo in the Senate over the N33bn intervention fund fraud in the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) which is under the supervision of the Vice President.

The House of Representatives after investigating and unearthing the rot in the management of the intervention fund insisted that Osinbajo has a case to answer having made approvals for release of those funds while he acted as president.

Osinbajo who was seen as the poster boy of this administration in the buildup to the 2019 election, has, in the past two weeks, been unceremoniously stripped of the influences he had.

President Buhari, via a memo, mandated Osinbajo to henceforth take directives from him in the management of agencies and parastatals he (Osinbajo) was constitutionally empowered to oversee.

What’s more, the President formed the Economic Advisory Council with a mandate to report directly to him, effectively disbanding the Economic Management Team, hitherto under the supervision of Osinbajo.

Osinbajo chairs the governing boards of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), the National Boundary Commission (NBC) and the Border Communities Development Agency (BCDA).

He is also the chairman of the board of directors of the Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC), a limited liability company owned by the three tiers of government.

The vice-president also chairs the National Economic Council (NEC), a constitutional body made up of state governors and key federal government officials, as well as the National Council on Privatisation (NCP).

However, a presidential source told Pointblanknews that “embattled VP Osinbajo went begging “President” Abba Kyari on Friday night, (September 20)” over his ordeal.

The source added, “The plot to remove the VP is not only about how he sacked Daura, but the stealings in his office.

“Most of the telephone numbers of traders who benefitted from Tradermoni does not tally. None of the traders have paid back. While the officially approved amount is N10,000, traders got between N5,000 and N6,000. The shortfalls ended up in Osinbajo and his cronies pockets!” the source added.

Recall that the Tradermoni has been a subject of controversy. In the build up to the last general election, the opposition, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had accused Osinbajo of using the scheme to buy votes ahead of the polls.

Meanwhile, it was also learnt that erstwhile fiery pentecostal pastor turned politician, Tunde Bakare, is being conscripted by the presidency to replace Osinbajo after he is removed.

The villa source who said “Pastor Tunde Bakare is on his way to New York to join heads of the Buhari cabal,” added that he is seen as a suitable replacement for Osinbajo.

Bakare was Buhari’s running mate in 2011 under the defunct, Congress for Progressive Change (CPC). He, in the build up 2015 was also tipped as one of those who would likely emerge Buhari’s vice president.
